My Gallery space in Sterling, Colorado
I'm mostly a self taught artist. I was raised in Colorado. In Colorado, you are surrounded by many different environments and animals. From plains to mountains and yes even sand dunes My focus is on wildlife and domestic animals in interesting and beautiful settings. I spends hours creating the soul of the animal through its eyes. The eyes is what gives the drawing it's heart and soul. I usually sees the animal in one habitat and then draws them in a different environment that i thinks they would prefer to be in. Sometimes it is a shock what a drawings turn into because it is opposite of what I thought it might when I started. I only use pencil and color pencils to create my works. I do not use solvents for blending in order not to damage the paper. I hope everyone who views my work feel the enjoyment I get out creating each piece.
